Cultural Dining at the Orange Circle

In the 25 years I lived in the OC, I enjoyed so many restaurants all around. One of my favorite places to dine is at The Orange Circle. Not only is it a great place to grab a cup of coffee, antique shop and people watch, there is a variety of different cuisines to choose from if you’re in the mood for food! Since the pandemic began, I have not ventured out to dine in public for about 6 months and I wanted to make this culinary adventure a special one. So, I grabbed a couple of my closest friends (masks on) and we ventured to Felix Continental Café. In business for 41 years, Felix is one of my most favorite places to dine in The Circle. They specialize in Spanish/Cuban cuisine and the food is undeniably delicious! The service is friendly, genuine and the food is consistently excellent every time. I try to order a different item off the menu each visit so today I ordered the Arroz con Carne, made with chicken, pork belly and chorizo atop their signature Spanish rice. To garnish the course is their fried plantains called Maduros, which is a perfect finish to the meal. Now if you’re not completely stuffed, I highly recommend the Tres Leches Cake. If you are completely stuffed, I suggest you take this dessert to go and enjoy later. So, if you need to venture out of the house and would like to have a great meal outdoors, Felix is definitely a go! Felix Continental Cafè
