The Paul brothers, i.e. Logan Paul and Jake Paul are famous Youtubers who have amassed a large fan following through their vlogs and other videos. Jake Paul’s transition into the world of boxing is an unexpected twist to their everyday rich lives his fans are loving each and every second of it but are boxing fans feeling the same?

The Breakdown
Whilst Jake claims to have become a ‘professional’ boxer, that certainly is not the case. In fact, many say that he is not a real professional boxer yet. Right after the fight, Jake compared himself to heavyweight boxer Deontay Wilder and spoke of his fight for fame, his fight in life, being one of the most hated persons in the world and that is why he loves and relates to the sport. He went on to say “It’s something that I’m great at, I’m gonna be in this sport for a long time, Why not”. He also explained that he had come into the fight with a broken nose which he broke himself while meditating.
He also called out MMA superstar Conor McGregor in a boxing match, stating that he’s ready to take on the big dogs and be part of the elite arena. He’s also promoted his boxing documentary and his music
Jake has to pay his dues, put in the work and fight his way up the chain with real pro boxers to create credibility instead of taking the easy route and calling out celebrities to gain publicity and earn money.

Experts suggest it would be good for Jake to come to that realization early on before he gets injured during the entire process.

“Who the f*^k is Jake f*^k’** Paul? I can’t be the only one who has no idea who this kid is” - Heather Hardy, Former featherweight WBO World Champion
So far Jake has only fought celebrities and a retired NBA player whom have nothing to do with the world of boxing and while that may be good for entertainment purposes bringing new eyes to the sport, he is far from being considered a real boxing professional. Once he steps in the ring with a real pro may he win or not only then he can call himself a pro boxer.
